ABOUT US

Joe Eastman is an executive, career, and life coach whose primary focus is with senior level leaders in a variety of public and private sector organizations. He founded Joe Eastman Associates, a consulting alliance emphasizing authenticity in leadership, and leadership based on clarified values and principles.

 

He began his career in human resources with the State of Minnesota and moved through various leadership positions there. He was recruited to Minnegasco (now CenterPoint Energy) in the human resources field, and subsequently advanced to lead the company’s residential and commercial service and sales businesses. From there he was recruited to assume the role of Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for EF Johnson, a Minnesota based radio technology firm. Following that he became a Vice President for a leading international executive coaching firm, LeaderSource, which was subsequently acquired by Korn Ferry.

 

He is the author of a book titled What is Becoming Clearer to Me, intended to focus leaders on understanding, appreciating, and incorporating the learning’s and significance of every -day life. He is nearing completion of a second book targeted specifically at leadership and life legacy.  He serves on the Board of Directors of a Minnesota based manufacturing company.

 

Joe is a Past President of the Twin Cities Human Resource Association. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Sociology and History. He served in the Army National Guard during his college years.

 

He resides in Plymouth with his wife Sheryl, and takes pride in his three wonderful daughters and two lovely granddaughters.

 

Melissa Logan is an executive, career, and life coach with a diversified background in Coaching, Human Resources, Consulting, Public Speaking and Holistic Health.  Her coaching is centered on helping individuals create a meaningful and joyful life that integrates their values, talents, skills, passions and life purpose.  Her coaching perspective is to work with the whole person – intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual so that results are life-long and life-changing.

 

Melissa began her career with Accenture in Minneapolis, consulting with a variety of Retail and Manufacturing organizations.   Eventually, she moved into Human Resources and Employee Development, working with a variety of IT Consulting Firms.  In 1997, Melissa formed her own consulting/coaching firm serving an array of individual and corporate clients including 3M, Medtronic, SuperValu and Retek.  She co-developed and taught classes at Anoka Ramsey Community College and is an MBA Coach with Capella University.  Melissa has developed a number of classes, corporate seminars, and one-on-one programs to help individuals discover their purpose and lead meaningful, fulfilling lives. 

 

Melissa has a BS and MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management and is a certified instructor in meditation and Ayurevda with the Chopra Center for Well-Being in Carlsbad California.  Melissa shares her life with her husband, Joe, and her two children, Alexa and Grant, in Mendota Heights.
