The underlying principle, focus and goal in every case is the identification and engagement of the leader’s passions, values, and value adding beliefs. With leaders, this translates into engaging the Legacy of How more intentionally, and paying as much attention to it as their Legacy of What. Leaders will be remembered not only for What they did, but How they did it. In the end, the How will always supersede the What when it comes to lasting legacy. The Legacy of What tends to be short term in focus, whereas the values based Legacy of How takes the longer view and the principle-based path.

Reflective Leadership is the term we use to capture this bias toward the Legacy of How. We maintain this focus in all of the services we offer.

Bottom line. Joe Eastman Associates seeks to work with leaders who see value in engaging in a thoughtful and reflective time away whether they are examining their leadership effectiveness, or at any other juncture in their career.
